Born in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, she graduated from the Department of English in the Faculty of Foreign Studies at Dokkyo University. She began her career in the International Department of Morinaga Milk Industry Co., Ltd. After first visiting Hawaii in 1988, she was captivated by its unique charm and decided to make the islands her home. Following her work as an English teacher at Tokiwagi Gakuen High School in her hometown of Sendai, she obtained permanent residency in 1997 and relocated to Hawaii with her family.
She has been active in the real estate industry since 2000. After gaining experience at Coldwell Banker, she took part in the establishment of Sachi Hawaii, where she served as Vice President. In 2018, she founded Gateway Estates as an independent venture, and in the following year, the company merged with the Aska Traffic Group. She currently serves as the Representative Director of Shimizu Gateways, overseeing a wide range of real estate services and operations. She is known for her experience and results, and she is trusted by clients and respected throughout the industry.

He began his professional career as a supervisor at Gucci, a role he held for seven years before obtaining his real estate license.
While searching for a commercial space, he opened his own apparel shop in Waikiki, which he successfully operated for ten years. He later returned to the real estate industry, gaining experience in timeshare sales and large-scale development projects. In 2013, he obtained his real estate broker license.
He went on to work in project sales at Howard Hughes before rejoining our company in 2025. Having lived in the United States for more than 35 years, he brings a deep understanding of both local and international perspectives. Outside of work, he enjoys sports and listening to music.

Born in Tokyo, Aki relocated to Hawaiʻi with her daughter in 2000. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Hawaiʻi in 2005 and began her real estate career with a Japanese real estate firm under an H-1B visa.
She obtained her Hawaiʻi State Real Estate Salesperson License in 2006, followed by her Real Estate Broker License in 2011. Prior to receiving permanent residency, she served as a Tokyo-based representative for a Hawaiʻi real estate company—an uncommon role at the time—introducing newly developed Hawaiʻi properties to clients in Japan while also providing ongoing asset management support.
After obtaining permanent residency in 2013, Aki further expanded her professional expertise by earning a U.S. Enrolled Agent (EA) certification, along with multiple U.S. insurance licenses. In 1999, he relocated to California, where he obtained a California real estate broker license. In 2005, he fulfilled his long-held aspiration of moving to Hawaii.
